The limited edition Ball Trainmaster Moonlight Special hearkens back to an era of luxury railroad travel. With a classic dial, it evokes the echoes of prestige that surrounded travelling the American railroads. The Trainmaster Moonlight Special is one of the most complicated BALL watches to date. Its timekeeping functions are enhanced with a triple calendar display while the chronograph records accumulated time up to 12 hours. The moon phase display and 24-hour indication are a clear nod to the legacy of travel. The case, in stainless steel, measures 43mm and has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and sapphire display back. It is water resistant to 50 meters and shock-resistant to 5,000 G’s. Movement is the automatic ETA caliber Valjoux 7751. The dial and hands feature 15 micro-gas tubes for legibility in the dark.
